EVENT: Attainable Housing Walking Tour of East Silver Spring

Attainable Housing Walking Tour of East Silver Spring
Register here!

This fall, Montgomery County will have a big conversation about how its neighborhoods should look in the future–including how to create more housing options for people of different ages, incomes, and lifestyles. What does that mean for you? Let's go for a walk and find out.

Join GGWash, Montgomery for All, and Coalition for Smarter Growth this fall for a series of walking tours where we'll explore different housing types–like duplexes, townhomes, and little apartment buildings. We'll talk about how current rules make it possible (or not possible) to build more of them. You'll also learn about the county's Attainable Housing Strategies Initiative and how you can participate.

First, we'll head to the historic, diverse neighborhood of East Silver Spring, followed by additional tours in other parts of the county. RSVP and we'll send you the address and directions.
