Question 2 - If elected, what strategies would you pursue to ensure housing is affordable for people of all incomes?

Transcript: Affordable housing is something that’s very important to me, I - my wife and I currently live in an MPDU unit and without that program there’s no way that we can afford to live here. So an increase in the MPDU program is a big deal, but also even with an MPDU rent rate there’s a lot of people who could not afford to live here, and so I would say an increase in public housing at the same time as increasing the MPDU program would help a lot of people find a place where they could live in this county, close to transit and close to where they work.
