Regional Citizens Advisory Boards meet to discuss Thrive this month
Council President Albornoz has delayed further Council consideration of Thrive in order to solicit additional feedback from the regional Citizens Advisory Boards (CABs). The East County and Silver Spring CAB meetings were held previously in the month. Learn more here.
These listening sessions are in addition to the two held by the County Council in the fall, where everyone who signed up was given a chance to speak. The CAB listening sessions are also in addition to the two County Council public hearings last summer. In each of these sessions, a majority of residents spoke in support of Thrive's vision.
