Montgomery for All — Aquatic Center & Leggett Tour
On Saturday, August 3, get an inside look at Silver Spring's brand-new Recreation and Aquatic Center and the adjoining income-restricted senior apartment building, The Leggett! We will receive a guided tour from Montgomery County Recreation and the Housing Opportunities Commission.
The Aquatic Center and the Leggett are part of an innovative public-private collaboration that combines state-of-the-art recreation facilities, community gathering spaces, and health and wellness resources with neighboring apartment buildings that will eventually provide 908 homes once fully built—all connected to the Capital Crescent Trail, and just blocks from the Silver Spring Metro.
